User-Contributed Transcription Mon. 25 Went to Newton with some of geol class to meet Prof Niles & see glacial scratches etc - then went tramping in Auburndale etc with him & two of his Tech. students - had a fine time - back at 2:16. Wrote to Pater, Prof. Jewett - & the Sec'y of Lowell [[?]]ust - courses - wrote invitations to Halloween party - letter from Uncle George -
Tues. 26 Gray, rainy day - Did not go outdoors. Head meeting 7:30 - 10 and [[?]]. Prof. Niles gave me some [[?]]susies.
Wed. 27 Letter from Miss Eaton. Hunted for quotations for Halloween Party - Prof Horsford came out with Mr. Frank Cushing and three Zuni Indians, the governor of the tribe and 2 priests. We saw & heard them in chapel from 12:15 to 1:20 or so - I had the honor of shaking hands with them all at Chem. Lect. Room in afternoon - Prof Horsford put [[?Kou]] H2O to amuse the Zunis.
