User-Contributed Transcription Sunday. Jan. 18 Cold - Had Senior class again - Mr Frissel arrived this morning - Lesson from Zachariah 3: a beautiful lesson. Prayermeeting led by Phillips - [[?]] Comm. met after prayers in evening. Mr Turner preached a very good sermon on, "Whatever a man soweth that shall he also reap."

Monday. 16 Walked to Hampton in A.M. with Miss Moore. Thermometer at zero at Miss Austin's, when we went there at nearly 9 oclock. In Library, 10-11. B Jr. & A. Jr in evening - did not see my Middlers at all. Mrs Freeman is staying down at Miss Millard's.

Tues. 17. Cold again, -1 degrees at Miss Austin's. Went for a short drive with Miss Scoville and Miss Commacher in P.M. but, alas, not on new-[?]. Meeting of Lookout Com. of C.E. Society after school in evening. Saw Hopkins and had a little very satisfying talk with him. Bible and History this evening. The others went down to Miss Millard's to see Mrs Adams after school in evening. I could not go, because of Lookout Com. Meeting. Queen Esther  - Geo. went forth.

Wed. 18 Home letter came not. 6 absent from A Middle class. A little warmer today - Teachers' Meeting in Marshall Hall.

Thurs. 19 Classes as usual. B Juniors again & again not very successful with the same Prayermeeting, Miss Lowe's Ten. Letter home.

Friday. 20 Family Letter came, also one from Nette - gave up period with pastors to Capt. Moton for an Examination, so was out by 2:45 -
