Friday - 31. Had B class copy outline of law - Pastors' class read News items. Good Friday Service in Va Hall chapel. only 1 1/2 hr. in Night School. Had Middlers write in number 26 for about an hour. then went to #3 Sci. for Arithmetic - only Reid came to the Committee Meeting.

Saturday. April 1 Review lesson with B' class. Barth at Va. Hall - mended clothes - wrote Easter Cards for S.S. class. studied S.S. lesson. Went to Hampton with Miss Nettleton in A.M. Yale Glee Club sang in chapel, beginning at 3:30. Banjo Club was there too, and our students sang also. I took Ruth over with me. she sat very still. Indian boys had a Sale of Easter cards & dolls & such in Recreation Room after the Concert.

Sunday - Apr. 2 Easter Sunday - lovely weather - with striped flag flying. Went to Zion Baptist Ch. in A.M. they had no S.S. lesson, practicing for Easter Concert. Had my S.S. class to myself today. Walked to Poorhouse with Wm. Harris, W.W. Scott, Jeff & Joyner - Church at 4 -& songs by quoir thereafter. Y.M.C.A. meeting in Va. Hall - reports of delegates to Conference in Norfolk - Turner, Ramsey & Warren Jones. Consecration Meeting after prayers - very good - Roll Call finished quickly at first - then 36 took part. A full day - tired at night. Dinner at Miss Moore's table.
