User-Contributed Transcription Tues. 27. Breakfast about 7:30. rather late for impatient boys. Took electric cars for Fair, entering about 8:45 A.M. Rode all around grounds, first on Elevated R.R. then went to Manufacturers Liberal Arts Building - found Oberlin, Hampton, Wellesley, Carleton +c. saw Misses Nettelton, Nash, Foote, Folsom - also Barker & Stokes - Barker & Miss Foote went with us through Indian Village +c. Forestry, Show & Leather, Krupp Exhibit. and to Dairy to Lunch - sour milk .05 - privilege of occupying table, 4 cts. each. Then over to Horticulture Building, Wooded Island +c. Nette found Miss Gunn, who spent most of P.M. with us. Rose Garden +c. then through Manufacturers again out to Baker's Chocolate Building, where we greatly refreshed ourselves - then along colonnade & peristyle, through Case[?] - & to Agriculture Building - Fine exhibit from British Guiana stuffed animals & birds & collection of insects wh. delighted the boys. Miss Gunn left us after this. Supper successfully at French Bakery - then all but Miss Moore walked back to Hotel. Washed up - +&went out to porch by Lake to plan tomorrow, write up Cash Acct - & Diary -c Tried to find Grace Duncan but failed
