Sleigh ride Party here from Oberlin, Senior Class with 3 Prof's & several chaperones - reached here at about 4:40, and left soon after 7 - brought oysters with them.  We made oyster stew and sandwiches (Potted Ham, salad dressing, white bread & brown) - about 55 in the party - Harl, Rena & Goldie came up & with them Pres. Merrill of Fiske University, who stayed here over night.  Miss Timbs came up also to spend Sunday.   Bread                           .30
Borrowed dishes from May Rich & Rena - Harry got George's horse Ben & buggy to go down town in P.M.  (K, N, Harry & I).  

Sunday 10.  Pres. Merrill here.  Breakfast rather late - K., N. & I late to ch - Nette & Mary Timbs went not to ch. in A.M.  Mr. & Mrs. John Werk & Mr. Fred Werk, Fiske Jubilee Singers, came up here after church - hired carriage for same - also to take item down for 3 o'clock service.

We all went to the afternoon service.  Dr. Merrill spoke & the singers sang - church crowded - Dr. Merrill took dinner at Harl's.  All here to supper, & lunch after evening service - Harry, Mary T, K. & N. stayed at home in evening.  S.S. class only a few minutes today - 6 girls.
