Went to supper at the Reiner House with Helen Sanborn and was a few minutes late to Prof. Drown's lecture - heard Sam Jones for a few minutes & came out on 9 oclock train - [Note in margin: Beautiful weather - letter from Ethel & one from Cassius Caius -
Tues. Feb 1 Gray in the A.M. - clear in P.M. - Cold - 3 classes - Mineralogy at 10:55 - Faculty Meeting in evening - subject of class organization discussed - wrote to Pater - finished up Note Bks - of 1:30 class -
Wed. 2 Snow. Went to Boston at 3:39 - first to see Dr. Morton - then did a little shopping, had supper at Macdonald's & went to Lecture, alone - Mr. Sherman Denton entertained me on the train, coming out.
Thurs. 3 Mineralogy class omitted today - others as usual - went to Boston at 3:39 with Edith Harris - met at station by Mr. Hayes - took dinner at Boston Universi-
