Mon. 21 Letter from Pater & picture of Harl. Leg better this morning. Wrote to Uncle Herbert, Miss Matthews, Mrs. Watson - read some & slept some. Ethel went to dentist this morning -
Tues. 22 Lovely weather. Classes as usual - Went to Miss Townsend's in afternoon, & again after dinner, with Simon. Made list of books for Edith Wilkinson - corrected some papers. Kept office hours - wrote letter home. Postal from John -
Wed. 23. Went to Boston at 7:54 with Miss Tuttle - came out at 11:05. John &Hall Nyce arrived on 2:16 train & walked up. We took them around the house - called very briefly in Christabel Lee - John, Ethel & I left at 4:28 for Millbury - in the rain - reached there about 6:30. had supper, went to prayermeeting, conversed. went to bed -
Thurs. 24 Thanksgiving Day - went to church - Mr. Hoyt, the Baptist man, preached - Luke 4:17.18.19. Walked down to Post Office with John in afternoon - Paul Thayer, Mr Waters & Caine Waters called in evening - Florence made some chocolate candy -
Fri. 25 Went to dressmaker's & did not find her - brought dress back again - went through Mr. Waters' mill very rapidly & partially, on way to 9:50 train -
