Wed. 20 Wrote to Miss Eaton - letter from Abby Morse about a Botany of Edith's wh. she sent. Pray meeting in evening.
Thurs. 21 80's went to call on Helen Wo[[?]]ley Norcross. all except Carrie Soule & rue. I went to bed after teaching my 1:30 class. Read King Arthur by MIss Mubet.
Fri. 22. Did not go to breakfast, but taught my classes - went not to dinner either - Read The Hillyars & the Burtons by Henry Kingsley - corrected problems.
Sat. 23 Geol. quiz as usual - Simon & I went chestnutting to Wellesley Hills in P.M. - brought back some good apples & a few chestnuts - went to No. 102 with mending in evening.
Sun. 24 Church. S.S> 5 o'clock meeting - & the 2 services in Village in evening - Bible Study after dinner - Rebuked table for talking about people -
