Fri. 18 Examination at 9. Went to Boston at 12:15. did a little shopping & went to Dr. Munshall's service. it was the best Praise Meeting I ever attended. A business meeting of '80 in the evening -
Sat. 19 Mineralogy labor. Chemistry Note Books. gave Min. class a written lesson. Did not go to Lowell's lecture - nobody went on the ticket. Celebrated Marie Wheeler's birthday at table - with diced beef cooked in milk & presents piled high -
Sun. 20 Retired to private life soon after breakfast - Prog. Townsend of Boston University preached. Read Independents & Christian Unions & some in the Bible -
Mon. 21 Did not get up to breakfast. But rose soon after & did Note Books diligentlay all morning - went to Boston at 1:53
