User-Contributed Transcription Thurs. 12. Work Day for A Mid. Had bicycle cleaned, oiled & put together. Rode on it a little, just around the school grounds. Wrote letter home - Led Night Girls' PrayerMeeting on very short notice, at Miss Johnston's despairing request. all the girls there.

Friday. 13. Rain, & high wind. Had gossamer fixed, shortened, at Industrial Room. Ordered 20 copies Weeks Currents, only 13 people having paid for same. Very tired. Had A Jr boys in with mine all the evening in Night School. let them join in News - History finished ready for small examination on Monday. Algebra Lesson - Bed at taps - no girls at Night School.

Sat. 14. Lovely weather, but very blowing still. Many went to Old Point to see the waves and the destruction.
2 classes in A.M. bath at Va. Hall. Library for papers & S.S. lesson - Mending in evening, a little bicycling - Took wheel to Uncle Tom's Cabin for Sunday. Went to Dixie & read Timothy's Shoes to Mary Sampson.

Sunday. 15. Fine weather. Dora not feeling well, went out only for dinner. I went not to prayermeeting, but spent my time hunting up and starting off the Buckrone and Little England parties. S.S. Teachers' Meeting at 10:30 & S.S. at 11. Had a lovely time with the Seniors - in 21 Science, my old
