User-Contributed Transcription Miss Admas, Miss Moore & I went with the boys to Aunt Nancy Smith's in P.M. Church as usual. Mr Frissel preached - "He that findeth his life shall lose it" +c. Class at 5, very earnest & interested, as usual. all attended today except Armstead & Mollie Wernham. Prayers in evening. Mr Frissel spoke about the early history of this school. Bed at 9. no chimes -

Monday. 20. Cold & clear - fine day - Studied in A.M. Bicycle in P.M. out beyond Spiller School - +c. Bible & Algebra in evening. Armstrong Association Meeting at 1:15. officers & committee elected. Mrs Turner called in afternoon.

Tues. 21. Clouds & rain. Classes as usual. Went to Hampton with Misses Moore & Adams to see Mr Wheeden (?) Pastor of 3rd Bap't Ch. (colored) about a poor woman with one leg. Literature & Algebra in evening. Letter to C.F. Roberts -

Wed. 22. Letters to M.Marsh & Simon Fuller. letter from Pater and Nette.

Thurs. 23. Classes as usual. Girl's Prayermeeting in evening. Letter home.

Friday. 24. Went to Singing Class with my Middlers at 8:30. News first period no one brought any except Sykes and Turner. Algebra 7:30-8:30. 4 Senior girls came in and stayed a halfhour or so. Had begun to move, expecting Mrs
