User-Contributed Transcription Parliament of Religious Report. Consulted Cap't. Washington about S.S. workers, and about Retiring Rules for boys. Miss Adams better but still in bed.
Miss Adams in bed all the week. no classes. very weak. gets back her strength slowly. Miss Lowe, Miss Johnston and Miss Herron mostly taught her 6th Graders. I talked with my Middlers Monday and again Thurs about keeping the school rules. A little talk with Geo. Thompson alone.

Bed a good deal on Sunday, Jan. 21. so did not got to Little England, as I had expected. Meeting of Nom. Com. of C.E. Society after prayers.

Monday. Jan. 22. Nom. Com. met again this afternoon and finished work. My week to take girls to school. 2 rainy nights. 4 boys learning quotations from Gen'l Armstrong to be given in chapel on Sunday evening. Literature this week. the Historical INtroduction in Underwood's British Authors - pretty stiff, but the boys seem to like it. Still working on Cube Root - began on some practical applications of Sq. & Cube Root - Friday evening -
