Thurs. 28 Very warm - wrote to Pater & Cassius Caius - postal to Simon - Geo.. 11-12:30 - [?Drummund] at 4. Read about Niagara Falls. Rowing in evening with Miss Orgain -
Friday 29 Lovely weather. Drummond at 9 & at 2 (on Mt. Etna). At 9 on Nature & Religion, answering questions - Prof. Starr at 11. Read on "Topographic Features of Lake Shores." No letters.
Sat. 30 Started at 5:10 A.M. for Niagara Falls with Will. Had a firstclass time & found some good specimans, crystallized minerals +c. Went to Cave of the Winds - had a picnic dinner in Prospect Park. summer at hotel. back at 12:30 - Rain while we waited at Mayville - letter from home
Sun. 31 A full, good day. Drummond at 9. saw Jorie at 11. Chaplain McCabe at 7:30 sang hyms at The Cottage until 10, after the evening service. Some good talk with Prof. Knapp. Slept some in P.M. Went to Mr. Martin's Bible Class
Mon. Aug. 1 Letter fr. Miss Howes. Postal fr. Simon. Letter fr. Solomon John. Geol. in A.M. Missionary Meeting in P.M. Rowing in evening.
