Nelson seems much better. Minnie went home sick on Wednesday after making bread. Her mother came, and took her in wagon. She came back Friday, in time to set bread again, but we made none this time. Made 6 pumpkin pies Saturday, Nov. 21. Minnnie did, I mean. Chicken for Sunday Dinner.
Sunday. 22. John preached on Paul. I did not go. Went only to S. S. and C. E. meeting, at which latter I gave some report from DesMoines.
Monday - Cloudy. clothes did not dry very well.
Tuesday. Bread baked.
Wed. A+A + children + Florence Putname came at 5:09 P.M. 3 mince pies, 2 layer cakes, many nutates + chocolate caramels made this day - also turkey stuffed + steamed + potatoes pared for tomorrow.
Thurs. 26. Thanksgiving Day. Mrs Fay + Ralph came also to dinner _ + Rich's + Sutcliffe's in evening - Popcorn, grapes + pulled candy. A little singing. While thee I seek, Lead, Kindly Light _ +c.
we went to church from this house.
