User-Contributed Transcription Service after supper till 7:30. Night School 2 periods. Prayermeetings, boys at Acad, girls at Cottage - at 9 spoke to Allen. no chance to speak to Lyle. Boys seemed to get hold of squareroot tonight. Ruth Garrett and Joanna Battle came into A Jr. class
Tues. Clouds & rain. Night School did not begin until nearly 8. Allen came to see me just before supper and made his decision to be a Christian. Went to Y.M.C.A. meeting at 9. spoke to Lyle, Ris & Carper - Lyle all right & happy. Middlers studied Review questions on aeneid all the evening at school.

Wed. 10. Carper came to see me between 11 & 12 a.am. made his decision also. Spoke with Hopkins after school he rose for prayers in the Y.M.C.A. meeting - Letters from the Mither and Nette - Teacher's prayermeeting in parlor. 6:30-6:30. Gave middlers an exam. on the Aeneid.

Thurs. 11. Letter from Annie - about Thos. Hunt - she wants too much. Wrote letter home briefly - bad cold. Regular meetings tonight. Mr Wharton spoke to the Night Girls - very good. Hopkins came to see me just before supper. he has decided to be a Christian. the whole class now.

Friday. 12. No singing at Night School this week. Good meeting. school began about 7:45 or so. Bed some in P.M. - cold making me somewhat miserable.
