User-Contributed Transcription John, Carrie & Franklin arrived at New York, Friday, Sept. 4. we received telegram that afternoon. They reached hom 7:50 P.M. Tues. Sept. 15 - all of us except Chas, Harry, Keyes & Nelson, were at the train to meet them. This includes Mary, who came over from Wellington in the morning - & Ageriah, who took same train back to Oberlin. Mary was here Tues. Sep. 8, to Friday Sep. 11.

Tues. Sep. 8 Picnic at Aunt Albina's for Dr DeLong particularly - Pater, Mary, Harry, Mayyo and I went to same, & had a firstclass time - My apple jelly was complimented. We went vainly to 2:07 train in hope of meeting John, then returned to picnic in time to be weighed & have picture taken - Mrs Levagood, Mrs Doolittle & Mrs Griswold rode home with us in wagon.

Minnie scalded her hand Monday, Sep. 7, & went home at 11:27. she came back Wednesday, but could not do very much for a few days more - Did not go to teach Rob Ely Tues, Wed & Thurs. He went back to school Tues. Sep. 15 - & passed his examinations creditably - as his mother took train to tell me on Sunday - John & Carrie went to Oberlin Monday 4:08 - Sept. 28 - John came back Friday
