User-Contributed Transcription Friday July 5 Beautiful day  - Late to breakfast - went to walk through the woods to the Cascades & Falls, some of us went back in time for dinner, some were not. Naps in P.M. i took a walk over towards Greely Pond. After supper we all walked. Ede, Will, Carrie & I towards Mt. Tecumseh -  letter from home, forwarded from Wellesley - wrote home & sent report to Miss Goodall. No reading -
Sat. 6 Another beautiful day - climbed Mt. Tecumseh - Will, Carrie, Ede & I - Mayne & Miss Wilder went part way up - Took lunch & returned just in time for supper - Made molasses candy in the evening - Mr. Towle sent some trout  to our table - Bill for trunk, from Mr. Bailey - wrote to John - began letter to Lena Brown -
Sun. 7 Fine weather - Church Service at 11 at hotel - conducted by Genl. Whittlesy - very uninteresting sermon on the Bible - "The word of the Lord endureth forever." Read some 7 sang hymns in P.M.
Mon. 8 Cloudy somewhat, but pleasant. Mended dress - walk alone in A.M. with crowd, Mrs W. & all, around triangle in P.M.
Tues. 9 Good weather, cloudy, Letter from Ethel - wrote letter home - Hattie Blake arrived at 5 P.M. Tramped to the Flume 3 3/5 mi. each way with
