& examined bills, & took same to Mrs Ransom - classes at 9 & 1:30. Prof. Niles came not today, having taken a bad cold here on Saturday.
Wed. Letter from Home. Pater, the mither & Nette - Staid at College for dinner yesterday & meeting of Freshman teachers in evening. The C.C.P.'s were here for dinner this night. Letter from Wilder - Com. Meeting at Mrs. Hall's.
Thus. Classes as usual - Elocution class at 4 for teachers - E.E.P. sick.
Fri. 7 Lovely weather - went to walk with Miss Thorne - 3:45-5:15 or so. Swept room, took bath +c. Prayermeeting in evening. Mr. Cowan sick with a bad cold.
Sat. 8 Classes as usual. Prof. Niles did not lecture at 4. has not yet voice enough. Went in evening to Musicale at Mrs Lovewell's - music mostly from Handel's Messiah - Edwina, Miss Roberts & Mr Morse. The girls here made candy.
Sun. 9 Rain & Snow. Went to church & S.S. class consisted of Mr Lovewell only. Mr Stevens acting as Superintendent - Two meetings this evening. Rev. Mr [??Bokrman] preached A.M. & P.N. A.M. Deut. 32: 11, 12 P.M. Matt. 14:16 Dr. Munger preached at the College.
Mon. 10 Cloudy - Rain a little in evening. Went to Boston at 8:15 with C.F.R. and Carrie Soule - Christmas-
