Wed. 29 Did not get up to breakfast - darned stockings - read Hypatia again, started to supper, and had a little ride with Zephyr and Notus thereafter - John went to Oberlin at 5 P.M. Cool -
Thurs. 30 Warm weather again - Darned stockings - mended Nette's dress - lay down come - felt not very fine in A.M. - Went for prayermeeting in evening - ray Gaylord here in P.M. crabapple jelly - lima beans.
Fri. 31 Harl starts for Michigan - singing expedition - Ethel & I went to noon train to see him off & take him some handkerchiefs - John arrived by same train, from Oberlin, Read Hypatia in P.M.
Sat. Sept. 1 - mended - studies S.S. lesson - A & A come, Annie at 2 o'clock - bit A. at 9 - Nette & I called on Anna Monroe yesterday -
Sun. church - S.S. Y.P. meeting & evening service - Mr. Williams preached in A.M. on [blank space] in P.M.
Read three People to children in afternoon -
Mon. 3 School began for Nette & the 4 "kids" - went downtown in P.M. to buy forks, spoons +c for John & Carrie - and assist at purchase of table linen for same -
