User-Contributed Transcription Tues. 12. A little rain last night. Letter from Dora Freeman a day or two since - Mending - Mrs Steele and Miss Eloise called in P.M. Ethel spend most of the day with Lizzie DeWitt. More bicycle - rode around one block. 6th & 7th sts. & Middle Ave.

Wed. 13. Considerable lame & bruised - a little more bicycle. Oberlin in P.M. with Miss Steele & Ethel, horse & carriage. Reached A & A's just as they were finishing supper.

Thurs. 14. Finished Fiske's Am. Revolution & just began on Critical Period. Had hair cut & shampoo (.40) bought 2 Rev. Testaments (.16), had supper at Annie Leadingham's - Letter came from John, written on Steamer in N.Y. Bay. Meeting in evening - Mr. Reed preached, on "Grow in Grace."

Friday. 15. Annie & I called on Mr. Gates in P.M. read Critical Period & knitted +c. no sight of Ethel or news from home. walked down to P.O. with Annie L. after supper.

Sat. 16. Lay on bed & read, considerable. Charlie Stanly expected at 12:05, arrived 3 hrs. late, on account of freight wreck. Ethel came around in P.M. bag and baggage.

Sunday. 17. Cool. Went to S.S. to Primary Class, and to C.E.
