User-Contributed Transcription All except the Mither & me went to see the Circus Parade in A.M. Harriette Pomeroy and Zella Williams called on the girls - Carrie Mussey called on us all . Prayermeeting and Library in evening. John & Carrie expected came not. I swept much upstairs.

September 1. Lovely weather, as yesterday, No news of John and Carrie - Felt queerish in A.M. Missionary tea in P.M. had a very good time. talked with many people - good supper - Mrs Perry, Miss Licorish, Mrs Nortey, Mrs Marne Leonard - Miss Crandall, Mr Leonard +c. Some mending - Went over to Mrs Bartlett's - Ellen Davis left us, to go to Dr. Sherwoods and the Gardners' -

Sat. 2. Mending - In P.M. - went to Aunt Anna's & to Uncle E.W.s - Carrie, Will's Carrie, is sick in bed - does not sit up at all. Saw them all in her room - stayed there for supper & went to train to meet Nette, who had been to Oberlin to look up John and Carrie - Harry went down to the train also.

Sunday - 3 - All to church. I took Nelson to S.S. - into Hallie Clough's class. C.E. meeting as usual. Hal & I went to the Methodist Church, but did not hear the
