User-Contributed Transcription Sat. Sep. 10 A damp morning, but clear later. Mr. [Orines??] was here today. I saw him for a few minutes after the Geology lecture, & walked to the station with him after lunch - 1:53 train - First Geol. lecture at 10:55. Went after gentians, but found none - Phys. Geog. examination at 4. 11 girls there.
Sun. 11 Flower Sunday - beautiful day, cool. Dr. Edward Judson preached at 10:31, I went to church & S.S. in village. to 5 oclock meeting here. Freshman prayermeeting at 7:30, which I led. parlor crowded & time thoroughly filled. good meeting, nice girls.
Mon. 12 Cloudy or rain all day. Sent notes to Phys. Geog. girls & interviewed some. Assigned laboratory places with M. Marsh & Simon - In P.M. helped Schedule comm - In evening, some laboratory work - Letter from home - Circular Letter. Returns of Birdie Ball Morrison's children - Edith Wilkinson & Charlotte Westcott call on [?Thip] -
Tues. 13 Another gray day. Chem. classes at 9 & 1:30. Geology Lecture at 10:33. Went to walk with Simon - & in evening to [?Waban] with Carrie
