Friday 3. Chemistry examination at 9:00. Did papers. & made up averages. Simon gave me a shampooing. Sent a "sassy" letter to Pater - Junior Promenade Day - showery - grounds beautifully illuminated.
Sat. 4 Last Mineralogy lesson at 10:55. The Phillips Academy boys did not come this afternoon nor did I hear from them. Float came off this evening in very cool weather.
Sun. 5 Elizabeth Slater had her sister at our table today. Florence Soule's cousin was there at dinner. Went to church in the village & heard a very good sermon fr. Prof Ropes, of Bangor Theol. Sem., Nellie Ladd's brother in law. Dr. Pentice preached at College - Short Vesper Service after prayers in evening -
Mon. 6 Went to 10:50 train & found nobody for me. Went to 11:50 train & found the two Misses Richards - they were here until 5. We went to Hunnerwell's in
