Sun. Rainy. Went to Mr Cowan church in village - Prof. J. W. Churchill of Andover preached at College. Section meeting then in evening - only 8 people came. a New Year's meeting -
Mon. Spent most of day on the lounge. went not to dinner nor supper. Reception in evening to Prof. and Mrs. Palmer - went for a time - Emily Wheeler & her father & mother were here - also Lilla D. Patterson & Mr. P. Letters fr. Jo. & Dora
Tues. Wrote to Jo Cass. Dora Freemean, Pater, Nette, Uncle George. Classes as usual. Review lessons in Chem. Last Quiz in Geology. Caius Cassius Peterkin arrived yesterday to stay all the week - we are planning a family party to celebrate his visit- Snow nearly all day -
Wed. Bright, clear. day. Wrote to Mrs Seymour walked to village with Simon in A.M. Prayermeeting in evening. Miss Shafer led - Letters from Katherine - wrote to Miss Eaton. Caius came to breakfast at our table.
Thurs. 12 Classes. A lady, Miss Platt, came out with Prof. Niles & I gave some time to her - Party in honor of C.C.P. here in #144. made candy therefor, beginning at 4 P.M. The party broke up in
