spend Sunday here - Rainy & cold
Sunday May 29 Still cold & rainy - Dr. Pratt of Hartford Theol. Sem. preached today - his wife is here with him - went to church in Village. Mr. Cowan preached on "I have fought the good fight" - Simon is away for Sunday.
Monday 30 Decoration Day - looked cloudy, but did not rain. Note from Malcolm Ely - also from Persy Richards, who did not come today with the S.A. captains, as I had expected. Wrote to Jack & Ethel. Looked over Mineralogy Note Books - went to R.R. station twice. Lecture by Mr. Mabie
Tues. 31 3 classes as usual. began on Silicates in Mineralogy. Council Meeting in evening. Rainy day. Wrote to Wilder.
Wed. June 1 Rainy, damp - cold. Letter from Pater. Dr. Abbott talked to us at the Teachers' prayer meeting on City Evangelization. Wrote to Wilder & Lottie Roberts.
Thurs. 2 Warmer. Chem. examination at 1:30 did papers in evening. Mr. Manly led the
