Friday - Missionary Tea & Thankoffering service at 4. supper & social thereafter -
Sat. Sep. 7 Nette's 16th birthday - Took 7:09 A.M. train to Oberlin to P.C. of A & A & Harl - back at 9:30. went over to Uncle Eliab's & with Ede to call on Mr. P.H. Boynton, called at Mrs Howes' - "Poems for Nette" - Hickorynut maccaroons also. called on Mrs Mamie Leonard - Auntie C[??] & the Mussey's - Lizzie DeWitt came up in the evening - & we three girls walked home with her. packing in evening.
Sun. 8 Beautiful day. Church & S.S. taught Miss Hattie Ely's class. nice boys. Nette & I went to S.A. in afternoon - Y.P. Meeting & evening service. Harl walked over from Oberlin, reaching here about 7 P.M. came with us from church. also Mr Benton & Geo. Rich.
Mon. 9 Finished packing & took 9:30 train with Nettie Cary. went with her to lunch at Mrs Hattie Cary Cleveland's in Cleveland - boiled chicken, French potatoes +c. all of wh. she made herself. Almost missed our train after it. Miss Maltby on same sleeper, Auburn - ate supper together just beyond Buffalo.
