Thurs. 14 John & Carrie came just after dinner. Rain in P.M. Pater, Ethel & I went to prayermeeting - Mr Ely led it.
Friday 19. [two blank lines]

Sat. 20 Carrie +c made candy this morning. John, Carrie & I went to ride with Uncle Eliab in A.M. picked raspberries in P.M. Mrs Monroe & Annie called. A. & A arrived about 4 P.M. by horse - Wilder & Mary, about 6:30, by rail - Candy in evening, & stories of the wild west. Harl walked over from Oberlin - Frank Johnson arrived about 6 P.M.
Sunday 21 A houseful of people -Fine day - John gave us a very good sermon - "As many as received Him, to them gave He the right to become children of God." Y.P. meeting - Mr Root & I, with Lizzie DeWitt went to hear a missionary lady, Mrs Eddy, at M.E. ch. Sang hymns after church in evening & to some extent in afternoon.
Mon. 22 Ethel & I picked raspberries for shortcake - Wi & Mary, John & Carrie, made some calls - Uncle Eliab took Wi, Mary, Carrie & Annie for a ride in P.M.
