User-Contributed Transcription Sun. 31 Snow. rain. wind - Church & S.S. in A.M. sermon on "what can we do for our Sunday School." went into Uncle George's class. Meeting in evening - conversation & apples after it.
Mon. Apr. 1 3 inches snow on ground. Rain all day. Went in A.M. to mail letters & get mail. Mended other dress around pocket. Rad "Mercy Philbrick's Choice" - took a nap in P.M. Began reading up for Missionary Meeting.
Tues. 2 clouds still - trees beautiful covered with ice - in A.M. melting fast. Jane & I went after mail. began letter to Pater +c.
Wed. 3 Fine morning, but clouded over before noon, and rained dismally - Went to Worcester at 9 A.M. & up to Mrs. Jones, found her sick in bed with cold & sore throat. stayed there for dinner - Mrs. Miller came over. I went over to her place about 4 P.M. - it is Mrs Miller's birthday - we had a ""sugaring off" in the evening, in the big kitchen of the Academy.
Thurs. 4 Fine day - need drying off - Mrs. Miller & I went over to see Mrs Jones & found her better - good time with Mr & Mrs Miller - Took train from Millburg at 4 P.M. Mr. & Mrs Miller & Mr. Blakely at station. Found letter from Pater & one from A.M.A. rooms awaiting me - Put new braid on to dress in evening - Jane & I tried to call on Miss Munger at Mr Waters'
