Tues. 20 Commencement Day a good cool one. Packed in A.M. Usual program in P.M. very fine ovation by Prof. Schurman of Cornell. Dinner speeches good, but long. Reception as usual. Linnie Ayer there. Marion Pelton Guild on the Board of Trustees - Letter from Will.
Wed. 26 Warmer - Alumnae Day - Helen Clarke the last but me, went this morning. Miss Mattis also. A good time at Alumnae Meeting. fine papers by Adaline Emerson Thompson & Laura Jones - Dinner speeches by Pres. Marion - Mrs Durant - Miss Shafer. Gertrude Chandler, Mary Bian, Anna Palen, Annie Montague, Maria Blodgett Bean. Dora Freeman was here all day, had a good visit with her, also with Laura Jones & Lizzie Wallace. Many discussions & conferences with Carrie Soule. Wrote to Will.
Thurs. 27 Very warm - cloudy by spells - lacking continued - Dinner at College - went to see Dr. Barker, Mrs Manly, Carrie Vaughan & Susie Conly, Katherine Bates - Miss Godfrey, Nellie Pendelton. Decided to go tomorrow to Nahaut - Mrs Jones going with me. Wrote to Pater & posted to Independent.
