Junioe Promenade came off successfully. a few drops of rain near end of evening - I did not go. Read "Little Dorritt" -
Sat. Bed most of A.M. Went to College in P.M. trying to find someone to go with my children & my ticket to concert in Boston. Miss Temple agreed to look after children - gave ticket to Charlotte Greenbank - Read story from Independent aloud in evening - Misses Hedger, Holmes & Miller went to concert - cloudy - but not much rain.
Sunday June 9 Cloudy - Did not go to church but to S.S., Y.P.S.C.E. - & College in evening to hear Gertrude Chandler - Very warm & sultry - Read "My Mother & I" -
Monday, June 10 Cloudy in A.M. Went to 8:35 train to see Edwina off. to 9:56 & 10:43 to meet Persy Richards, +c who again came not - wrote to Mrs Burrill & Mrs Seymour. Reception at Freeman Cottage & went to Nellie Hardy wedding reception at M.E.Ch. in Natick.
Tues. 11 Classes as usual. Review. Last lesson for 9 o'clock class. Faculty Meeting finished the Regulations. Came home with Miss Godfrey.
Wed. 12 last recitation for 1:30 & 2:20 classes. Went to prayermeeting in evening.
Thurs. 13 Examinations begin with Bible Class. Took 11:40 train to Saxonville, leaving my children to Miss Hawes in P.L.R. met Gertrude Chandler on train - also Miss Eastman, Alice Hamlin & Harriet
