Thursday. 27. Lovely, springlike weather, Walk with Miss Holliday after prayer - came back with Mr Godduher again. Went to Miss Willard's room till time for Dr. Merritt's office hour - Saw Dr. Merritt again about glasses. visit with Miss Nash while waiting - Electro Thermal - Went to see Miss Wingate in P.M. also Miss Schenck, Miss Holliday. Miss Parmelee and Miss Cornell - P.P.C. - calls. Did not go out in evening, though Mrs. Joseph Cook gave Stereopticon Lecture on India. Letters from Ethel & Annie, enclosing John's - card fr. Miss Wingate - wrote briefly to Ethel -

Hadley, Sup't of Jerry McAuley, Water St. Mission - he told of his own conversion and of "Old Rube Johnson. I decided to stay till Monday to be sure of glasses. A springlike day - sidewalk very wet. Letter from Pater -
