Wed. 29. Lovely weather. whitefish, scalloped potato, salsify on toast, coffee jelly with cream, Dutch cheese, [??]plant sauce, oatmeal gems. cake - Ironing finished - some mending, sweeping & dusting - Note fr. Eva Reefy - answered same - sent note to Aunt Mallie at the chapel society - forwarded letters to Nette & Harold. wrote up diary since April 7. Carried asparagus to Mrs Fowl, Mrs Wagner, Miss Wadsworth - sent some to Miss Maddock - Pe[[?]]enting at church.

Thurs. 30. P'd Bertha in full for w'k -     2.00
Harl left 7:50 this evening - Edith arrived at home early this morning from Germany. Prayermeeting & teachers' meeting - some mending - Nette came home at 5. having eyes examined, but no spectacles yet -

Friday - May 1.  37 years old, alas. Bertha cleaned the boy's room today - Miss Wadsworth did mending & lengthened sleeves of blousewaists. Ellen Davis, Fern Smith, Bessie Brooks, Mr F.N. Smith here in P.M. Returned vases +c to Mrs Ely - Miss Jensen, Nette's classmate, here late to supper with Mette. Nelson & I went downtown in A.M.
