User-Contributed Transcription spectacles - Walked up to May Rich's in A.M. to get some sour milk - Over to Aunt Mallie's in P.M. spectacles came not as expected. Nette and I went in evening to see Aunt Anna & call on Grace Gaylord, who is visiting her. Cold. Mr Williams fell in Court House, and broke his hip. Very serious indeed - Dr Dudley Allen out to set it -

Thurs. 2 Cold - snow - blizzard at intervals all day. Dizzy & sick for lack of spectacles -Mr Paddock spoke at our chapel this evening about frontier work and life in Idaho, especially Weiser Academy - very interesting.

Friday. 3       Nevins - milk                 .50
Fried Pork & milk gravy - scalloped onions - potato cakes - mixed croquettes - nutcakes - currantade. Nette went to Oberlin, 11:27, back at 5. Dr. Jameson - Missionary Meeting in P.M. Ely helped with dishes, and I got there in time - Spectacles came at noon - great relief -

Sat. 4 Sweeping, dusting - getting dinner - for today & tomorrow, +c. Mr T.B. Rogers & Bessie Brooks here in afternoon. Mr Rogers, Mrs Crooks & Mrs Chapman here in evening - talking of the coming S.S. Conventin - went to see Miss Williams in afternoon - sent down there some cooked salsify & cans of fruit -
