Monday 30. Vacation Week. All the working went to Mrs Jackson. Miss Wadsworth here - warm, pleasant weather.
Tues. 31. Warm & pleasant still. Fannie & Hattie Root here all day - children had good time outdoors. Went to woods in afternoon, Keyes & Nelson cried to go too. Nelson broke my spectacles - went down to Mr Bickfords with them and to see Mr Williams & Mr Knapp. Bean soup.
