Motley nearly all day - more than half through 2nd Volume - all to church & S.S. except Nette, Bertha and me. Dr Maynard came to see Bertha in eveing - she had a high fever. Wrote letters to Harl, Annie & John, Ethel - bits of letters - Mr. Ingersoll came in P.M., but did not see him. Fair weather more or less -
Monday. Dec. 23. Same old story - Finished 2nd Volume of Mottey - 2 calls fr. Dr. Sherwood, one not professional. received also Mrs Straus, Anna Monroe, and May rich. Letter from Miss Pearle Johnson. Mrs Straus took Keyes home with her to dress him up for one of the little Santa Claus Boys for tomorrow night - he was gone 4 or 5 hours. Bertha sick in bed all day. Dr Maynard here in A.M. Poor Nette
Tues. P'd - Mayo .30
Bertha better. Martha here all day, working for us. They both went home on 4:18 train in P.M. May Rich, Mrs Fay, Dr Sherwood, Dr Maynard here. left about 9:30 or 10 A.M. all rest of day -
