I gather from your letter that Lucy's health is not so good as last summer but do not learn from any of you much about it. wish you would write more particularly and of your own health and doings. We are sorry for the perplexities of Sam'l & Eliab it is such a blessing to have the mind free from the harassing pressure of business anxieties free to enjoy life & free to improve it. I do hope they will succeed in their efforts to find relief. They have both proved themselves good managers to have kept along so well. They could not have done it I suppose, but upon the credit of their characters for business already established. I think you must all have fine times so many of you together within call of each other Lucy ought to be particularly careful, lest with the increase of her family, too great demand be made upon her strength. I think it well that Isaac can be free from business and at leisure for a good long time he will enjoy it much I do not doubt. I should like to now how Charles finds himself in Milo this winter. I do not wonder that he scarcely knows what to do��; it is something of an undertaking for him at his age, to seek a new home & new business, especially with his young family & no larger means, yet it seems as if he might be better situated but after all each place has a peculiar disadvantages & the spot is of little consequence to the way one's life is spent.
