User-Contributed Transcription distance. The doctor has had more of an ill ?temper? for a day or two past than for some time before has been generally quite well. My health is good better than before our journey. I wrote to Emily Baker at Detroit on account of our White Mt. tour & her husband put it in his paper. I think we will send the paper to Charles I have not written to them yet, as I mean to do. We had letters yesterday from Mr. Rider & from Isaac There is a pretty place here for sale very low perhaps you will recollect the house just over the bridge of Baron Van Bombach: his sons & his property are in Milwaukee and he has decided to move there, so will sell his place cheap two acres a fair garden spot fruit &c. I wrote to Isaac about it perhaps he might think best to buy it & how pleasant it would be for us if it would be best for them otherwise I would not wish them to come. Arthur Ely is still in poor health subject to frequent attacks epileptic O what an affliction. much love to all Very Affectionately Anna.
