User-Contributed Transcription free from fever and is gaining strength from day to day. I have taken all the care of him night and day & think I have approved myself quite a good nurse; he is still much prostrated can sit up but a few minutes at a time. It is a new experience for him having never been confined to his bed more than a day before in his life; he has rather boasted of his good health this summer said he was better than before in twenty years.Isaac wrote us that he would come out here and live if the doctor would buy or rent for him a good place we shall strain every nerve so soon as the doctor is capacitated to attend to it we have already set inquires on foot. it will be so pleasant for us to have them near us; he very wisely proposes to defer his journey west till they can move out here & save the additional journey.. There are two or three places can obtained I have not doubt to advantage with ready money property too that would be saleable if he should wish to dispose of it in a year or two.
