User-Contributed Transcription if she wants a lining she must send word immed, but folds are worn most without linings. I have not seen Joseph these two or three days. Isaac carried home the money for the eggs, so I have only the ,50 Mrs. Billington gave me to pay for the bonnet: I have concluded to get neither folds nor lining unless she sends word and 'means', to get it. Almeda's comb they will not take at all: if it was plain shell they would. - I will get you a dress like A's, in two or three weeks. Joseph has about making a trade with a painter to take a cow and paint the house but I suppose he will ask more for his job than ?page torn and C. will want more for his cows than for cash on hand, so between the two, it will be a bad bargain for me: Abby Foss is staying several weeks at Prof. Pond's taking lessons of Mr. Headly a cousin of Mr. Mahby's and famous teacher of music: I called upon her yesterday: I have been at my new boarding place two day, like very well: my chamber is retired, with two large pleasant windows, but small, and have to go up the back stairs to get to it: have tried hard to get Joseph to leave the store early enough this eve, to walk with me to 'lover's leap' hope he will, but he is too incorrigible about taking relaxation. I mean to try to have some sort of a spree, and ride out of town to Pusham or somewhere 4 of Jul if I can make J. and E. go:
