The hosen which I send (Janet's are getting too small) please color most anything but black, at your convenience. I think that birch bark is a beautiful color for stockings. If you can conveniently before winter, I wish you would knit Samuel a pair or two of gloves. He will need a pr. of coarse and one of fine. I'll knit a pr if you'll send me some yarn!
