On my return I stopped two days at Milwaukee at Mr. Mrs. Dougal's: she is the Miss Garland who kept the school at Milo soon after we moved there: I had seen her in Bangor though never much acquainted: he is uncle to Nat. Hatch, who is teaching school yet, somewhere down east. They have resided in Milwaukee eight years: I did not like him much, he is almost a Garrisonite, extremely ultra.
