Dear Azariah
You want to help on the Temperance cause. Write to Senator Rawlings asking him to send you a copy of his county Local Option Bill, and encouraging him to crowd it.
May do some good just now.
Also write to our Representative J. T. Haskell urging him to work for it.
All well here, fine sleighing. Grand winter weather. Good for every body, I think.
E. W. & Henry M. Metcalf going out to Kansas this week, for Harry to help Wilder; but the delayed trains from snow & wind have delayed them day by day - E. W. wants to go by noon train & get to Chicago to stay over night, that train is two or three hours late daily, so they have finally today put of starting till Monday.
