Dear Friends
We arrived here on the afternoon of the day we left Elyria. Have since been trying to get settled for the winter. Found the lady who owns the place we expected to get, of very uncertain mind. She now wishes to rent it for five years and for $150.00 per year. Mr Sto[[ree?]]'s folks say she can't get that and Mr Sto[[ree?]]'s son, who lives in Cleveland tells me to 'hold on' before taking any other place, as if he can see her and talk with her about it, she will let it to me a year for $100.00 Perhaps he might succeed, but I think it doubtful, and as there is another difficulty about getting the present occupant out, we have given
