Description Accompanied by 138 slotted cardboard supports and 1 round metal stand for standing up the figures.

Summary Toy theater set of die-cut, printed Arctic scenes and figures, possibly depicting the Lady Franklin Bay Expedition (1881-1884) into the Canadian Arctic led by Adolphus Greely and supported by the United States Army Signal Corps. Includes icebergs, ships and canoes, igloos, animals, and people, some of whom are in native Inuit dress. Some of the people are engaged in hunting, fishing, skinning a seal, canoeing, or dog sledding. The animals include birds, a whale, polar bears, walruses, foxes, and deer.

Extent 43 prints : chromolithographs on paper, mounted on cardboard ; irregular shapes 14 x 29 cm or smaller + 139 stands (138 cardboard, 1 metal)
