Cloudy, Rain
Antoinette improving. Dr Carr at 8A.M. prescribed Red Squirrel and more nourishment. "Will get up in a few days." Tried John Morse for Squirrell. Mr Putnam [[arose?]] for hiccough. 9 or 10 a.m. very faint & short breathed, grew alarmed. Isaac helped him to see Mrs P.
Dr Carswell came at 11a.m tried various things to stop the hiccough, and with no success, not even in all the Ether he dared to give; then he great alarmed, sent for me at 12 M. to get other Physicians for consultation. Got Capt Rimball to go to Concord for Dr Moore or some one and sent Bradford Burkham to Gippstown for Dr Carr. Dr Carr came at 3 P.M. staid till near 6 P.M. Dr Smart of Concord got here at dark staid only a few minutes Capt R. went to four doctors before could get one to come. Dr S. said he would come only because his wife promised. It was very rainy.
Mr Putname somehow became easier.
Mrs Parkinson staid all day. Lizzie Fuller is sick
Mr Rogers to take care of Mr P. { Mary Stinson -? no come.
Fanny Burnham -- Mrs [?] { Isaac [[about?]] sick

Isaac threatened with Dysentery better this morning is keeping very still all day. Is eating rice water. Mr P easier, though not believing in himself
Mrs P comfortable through up 6 times
Antoinette stronger [[?]] 1/4 hours at time.
Old Mrs Parkinson here most of the day.
