April 14th Attended Meeting at Mr Pomsoy's went into the Sabbath School, was just into Mr. Tenney's [[?]] class of young men. Saw and spoke to Charles Johnson of Milo at meeting; he was in the S. S.. During meeting a company of soldiers came marching into the city with Drum fife [[?]] playing

Apr. 15th Went to school, Frank Brown was there. 3 or 4 or 5 who went In 1835-6 Virgil comes rather hards at first. It has rained hard all day. I lack Books.

April 16th Somewhat rainy. Sent a letter to Milo by the Mail. The see is going out of the main river. Bought an India Bull on half price 56

April 17th The sun shines, it is nearly a week since it has before I believe
