Doubtful, I guess. Present appearances are against it decidedly. I tried to leave DuQuoin this Morning at 6 A.M. But on account of a Freight Train off the Track toward Cairo, the Train did not come till 4 P.M. When I came along as far as here. Meanwhile it had turned excessively cold. No snow at all at DuQuoin, and not freezing any till Morning. Here all frozen up, and from here to Chicago, all trains snowed up and frozen up, very little prospect of any train over the road tomorrow or perhaps for longer. I do not know but I shall decide to go back to DuQuoin tomorrow and stay over Sabbath.
