User-Contributed Transcription Mrs M. & her two sisters spent the day yesterday out at Sam Landon's, and the rest of us mostly survived.
A long letter from Marion arrived yesterday - due Tuesday - but delayed by a R.R. accident east of us, which allowed us no through mail on Tuesday No special news in it though. She went to Boston Saturday after shoes. She lost her stockings not being marked.
She likes at the cottage better and better. It appears to be 'restful' to her She bought some books for the children while in Boston.
She was sorry she did not go to the College to preaching Sunday
