User-Contributed Transcription Goffstown, N.H. Nov. 11. 1849Brother Joseph   I do not know as I have any thing to say to make it worth the while either to me or thee to write a letter unto thee at this time. Yet I am inclined thereunto now.  Your last letter with Prospectus of the Waterford WaterCure Establishment came duly to hand some time lately, perhaps Thursday last.  I notice the name of one of the Signers to that Certificate "ONeil W. Robinson" Which name is indorsed by you as "High Sheriff" High Sheriff of Oxford! Is is possible that it is the same ONeil W. Robinson of Waterford whom I knew in College, Class of 1845, Immense big fat lazy fellow, strong as oxen.Perhaps it is not the same; and if tis no matter.Well Water Cure is being very rigorously applied to various difficult "cases" of RailRoading and such like processes, at about the present time. Baths of various kinds are unremittingly "exhibited."The sunshine of 160 hours. Vehement pouring rain for nearly 18 hours in succession. Rivers almost unprecedently elevated. Some of the "oldest inhabitants" say for 30 years, some "acknowledge" on 25. At any rate the sojourners call it large! The "City" commonly so called, where the Post Office is named Oil Mill Village is one Mile above here. Just above O.M.V. the Piscataquog
