User-Contributed Transcription Well, I expect I have already written about enough for this letter.But I happen to think of mother's coming Home to Dunbarton with you; and so I ought to write some to her. Yet I do not know as I have any thing more to wrote. I wrote to her at Milo last week. But I am very glad if she will undertake the journey. I know it is good for Elderly people to travel about, I do hope Mother will. And too your own Father & Mother, I know it would be good for them to travel about a little.You know they did not as expected last year. Now you are there you can get them off, can you not? to Massachusetts or to New York to see the Crystal Palace or to the White Mountains or some where and you too of course.[across letter] Mrs. Roots is quite sick.
